Act 6:3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

 

The Board of Deacons is designed to be the hands, ears, eyes, and even the feet of the Pastor. The duty of a deacon is to assist and aid the Pastor in availability and ability as men to support the Pastor and in turn, they are supporting the church.
