The Deaconess Board is not just the female counterpart to the male Deacon’s Board. We have been partnered with them as a God-ordained, very necessary part of working with them to enhance what they do in support of the Pastor and the entire church body; with humble servitude, humility, and heartfelt service in areas that are appropriate to our office. 

It is our endeavor and duty to help nurture, encourage, exhort and facilitate, within the body of Christ, especially to assist women of all ages in our church and community. To win souls for Christ; for the building of God’s kingdom. 

It is our vision as Deaconess of Greater New Bethel to exemplify the spirit of love, and understanding for praying and teaching and to win souls for Christ; for the building of God’s kingdom. 

Romans 16:1-2 I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea: That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.
